Another exciting day at the markets on 8 Dec, even though it rained most of the morning, we still had many visitors. It's so much fun meeting & chatting to everyone who comes past. There are quite a few South Africans who visit & they love seeing some of the craft from their home country.


We have introduced some stunning Kenyan jewellery. Each of these ceramic beads is unique, hand made & hand painted making it a special purchase. The necklaces are produced by underprivileged & struggling Kenyan woman, most of them are single Mothers who need an income to support their families. The organisation who facilitates this is a member of the International Fair Trade Association, which makes us very pleased to be selling these beads in Brisbane & happy to contribute to the improvement of these woman's lives.
