Its a new year & new plans are under way! After a short break visiting friends in Sydney I have resumed business!
The next market is on 12/1 & preparations are under way to make sure there are some new pieces to show you! Let's hope the rain stops soon though!!

Ikhaya (meaning ‘home’ in Zulu) sells modern African homewares that bring the fresh, quirky and warm spirit of the ‘Rainbow Nation’ to Brisbane. Our products are sourced mainly from South Africa, Kenya, Zambia & we have lovely market baskets from Ghana. I am originally from Cape Town, South Africa, having moved to Brisbane in December 2006. I am inspired by the creativity & resourcefulness of the crafters & hope you love these pieces as much as I do! All our suppliers aim to create a sustainable income for the underprivileged people of Africa.
